Akshardham Temple Delhi Timings

Akshardham Temple stands in Delhi. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday. It closes every Monday. Devotees can enter from 9:30 AM. The last entry is at 5.30 PM. It shuts at 6:30 PM. Visitors need an ID card for entering the mandir.

Akshardham Temple, Delhi 

Akshardham Temple Built in 2005. The temple shows timeless Indian traditions. The design comes from ancient Hindu temple styles. Over 11,000 workers helped build it. They used pink stone and white marble. Every carving tells stories from scriptures. The temple honors Bhagwan Swaminarayan. His teachings inspire the displays. The complex shares 10,000 years of culture. 

Akshardham Temple Delhi shows Hindu culture. The stone carvings are the main attraction of the temple. The carvings tell old stories. A boat ride takes people through history. The water show starts at night. 

Rules entering the Temple

• Dress properly – wear clothes that cover shoulders and knees
• Remove footwear – Leave shoes at the free shoe counter
• No phones/cameras – electronic items are not allowed inside
• No food and drinks - Eating is prohibited in prayer halls
• Show ID proof - Adults must carry identity cards
• Bag check - All bags go through security scanning
• Smoking - There is no smoking zone in temple zone

Entry fee

Akshardham Mandir Entry fees are free for all visitors. They take a charge for exhibition and boat rides.

From Indira Gandhi International Airport to Akshardham Temple, it is approximately 20 km via the Delhi-Meerut Motorway and DND Flyway. And a time of 30-50 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
